One shop, one owner who fishes, and a stock list built from what actually works on Indian water.

Fishing came first. Years of it — hours on the water, learning the conditions, working out what actually performs and what only reads well in a catalogue.
The problem was finding tackle worth using. Plenty of shops carried plenty of product, but much of the market was generic and low grade, and did not deliver the performance, reliability or value a serious angler is looking for.
AJ Fishing Tackles opened in 2013 to answer that. Choosing tackle should never just be about buying the cheapest thing available: the right rod, reel, line, lure, hook or accessory changes the fishing, and in the end it changes the result.

Everything here is tackle the owner would personally trust and use. That is the filter — carefully selected, reliable, practical gear chosen on real fishing knowledge, not stock picked because it was inexpensive or easy to get hold of.
It also means the advice matters as much as the box. Tell us the target species, the water and how you are fishing it, and the recommendation is built around that — whether you are starting out, fishing most weekends, or have been at it for years.
Stock is picked on what performs on the water, not on what is cheapest or easiest to source. Gear that does not deliver does not get reordered, however well it sells elsewhere.
What you see is on the shelf. Retail and wholesale run from the same stock, so an order placed in the morning is packed the same day rather than waiting on a supplier.
Tell us the water, the target and the budget and you will get a straight answer on WhatsApp — including when the cheaper option is the right one.
The shop floor: rods on the left, terminal tackle on the right, and the counter where most of the advice actually happens.

Hooks counted, spool sizes matched, rod tubes taped. It takes a few extra minutes per order and it is the reason the wrong-item rate stays where it is.
Buying for a shop, a club or a charter operation? Trade pricing and bulk quantities run from the same counter.
